Throughout my life I have been involved in some type of creativity.  Once in college I majored in Textile Design and received a BFA from Georgia State University.  Since that time I have been a textile designer/stylist for over 20 years designing everything from rugs to bedding to upholstery material.  Feeling the need to be creative outside of work I went back to my first love painting.  After learning many different techniques from many world-renowned artists I came into my own process.  As David A. Leffel states, “make a beautiful statement.”  That is what I strive for in each painting with color, texture and the overall concept.
