Lynn Tolleson is a native of British Columbia, but moved to Atlanta in l976 with her husband and raised her three children here. She worked as a counselor for many years, but has always been drawn to the world of art.  It was not until she took a drawing course at the Chastain Art Center several years ago, however, that she was inspired to continue studying and learning to paint.  It has been a wonderful blessing, and a thrill to be able to bring life to a canvas.  She endeavors to bring beauty to her work, to create something that will speak to the heart of the viewer.  She works mainly in pastels and oils, although she has done work in water color and photography. She has been in many shows, and her work is hung in homes, businesses and nonprofit organizations.
